Everyone’s disappeared, but I’m still cutting the grass
Taking care of biz as usual
I don’t have a clue what really happened to all of you
I woke up one day and all that remained was silence and some blood stains
Frantically, I checked out all the houses on our street
But no one came to meet me at their door
So, I looked into the sky and wondered “why’d you leave me here alone”?
The clouds took the shape of a horrible face, and I swear I heard it laugh
Well, that just made me mad, so I walked home and took a nap
Expecting this insanity to pass
Eventually, I came to see this isn’t just a crazy dream
And here I am, it’s been 6 months, and my chores are all done
So I’m packing up some things, I’m heading out on the road
I hope I’m not the only one alive
And right before my eyes, a misty mountain rises high
A passage opens as I drive into the looming mountain side

And now I’m barely real, I think someone else is at the wheel
Why did I come to a halt and what’s that pounding in my brain?
I’m reaching for my shotgun as my head explodes in pain
And now I’m stumbling aimlessly around this bloody maze
And now I’m in the tunnel with some things I can’t explain

Someone’s scrambling towards me, I can see their glowing eyes
“One more step, and I’ll blow you straight to hell”
Wait a minute now, my body’s floating up to somewhere else
And there’s my wife, and that’s my kid… so this is where they went…
